About Our Crafting Journey

Here at Bits & Butterflies we love crafting. Wayne and Jewlz have always been into creating.

In early 2026, Wayne was laid off from his tech job and turned to whittling as a way to pass the time in between applications and interviews. He has always been drawn to crafting from reclaimed materials. Whether that’s whittling a whimsical little critter, or welding up some metal creatures made from bolts and scraps picked up off the side of the road.

Jewlz had been creating, trying different crafts from crochet to diamond art, and discovered wire wrapping beaded sun catchers. The way the light filled her room with rainbows filled her with a joy that she wants to spread with all.
